INTERNET GOVERNANCE
PROGRAM AREA
IP3 does policy-relevant research on
global Internet governance. We produce analysis, host
events, and participate in policy processes. Much of
this work has focused on the Internet Corporation for
Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the 2003-2005
UN World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
Internet Governance Project: much of
our current work is done in a cross-university collaborative
project with researchers at Syracuse University in New
York.
Computer
Professionals for Social Responsibility (CPSR):
during the late 1990s much of IP3's work was done in
partnership with CPSR under the title "Civil Society
Democracy Project" (CivSoc). This work is archived
here.
